What does it take

What does it take

So what does it take to create the success you desire/deserve?

Does it take lots of time? Or lots of money? Well no, not really

It takes drive, passion and motivation.. in a nutshell – ACTION!

For most people your goals don’t just jump into your lap, you have to take some HUGE action to go out there and get them. So yes that means you need to get off your bum and make it happen.

The key elements I think it takes to create the success you want in life are:

  1. WHY – Find your big reason why you want it
  2. EXCITEMENT – You need to be excited about the possibilities and the process, have fun along the way
  3. COMMITMENT – You need to be committed to the goal
  4. COURAGE – You need to get way outside your comfort zone, as this is where the magic happens
  5. CONSISTANY – Just keep doing it and doing it without stopping and starting
  6. FOCUS – you need to do what you need to do no matter what, don’t let bumps in the road take you off track

If you really want something and you are willing to do what you need to do to make it happen, what does it take?? ACTION!

What are some key points that you feel it takes to create success in any area of life?

Success is up to you

Success is up to you

Success really is up to you. It is all about how you feel, how you act and what you do!

A lot of people including myself hold themselves back from having the success they want, for lots of different reasons. Of course we don’t do it on purpose, as who would do that right?

We do it by default, to protect ourselves from failure. As we subconsciously think that if we don’t put in the effort now or we don’t take action on that idea and don’t have success then we won’t have to worry about failing.

Which seems like a strange thing to do really looking at what that means. It means we would rather not aim for success just incase we fail if we do.

So as you can see success really comes down to a few things. First making the decision on what you want, Taking action on what you need to do and then sticking to it consistently until the desired result is achieved!

What is something you have wanted, that you attempted to do and then self-sabotaged yourself?

Determination

Determination

Determination is a key part of any successful career or success in general. To be determined means to have a set goal in mind that you want to achieve. And you will do all you need to do and keep focused and passionate about that goal until you achieve it. There is no thought of “IF” or “MAYBE” just “UNTIL”.

Determination is a wonderful thing; it is great to have a driving force behind something which helps you to keep peddling no matter what to make that goal happen.

Consistency is also a big part of determination, without it determination on its own wouldn’t exist.

What is the main GOAL you are determined to achieve in your life right now?

FEAR OF CHANGE

FEAR OF CHANGE

Fear of change is something that we all experience. As much as someone can think they like change (me included) certain things can change and it can totally catch you by surprise and send you in a spin.

It is times like this that you need to take a step back and assess the situation and be open to a new learning experience. Try not to put up the walls and fight against it, as it can sometimes then make you fearful of that change.

As someone said to me today, business is like a roller coaster, sometimes you just need to sit down and hold on as tight as you can, letting it take it's course and then asses the situation once things are calmer.

It comes back to the saying Opportunity brings Adversity. The change is not to be feared but to be grateful for. As it will allow you to grow, improve and move forward to create bigger and better things.

When in your life have you let fear control your decisions?

Consistent Improvement

Consistent Improvement

I love being able to consistently improve what I am doing.

Whether that is personally or professionally. Always looking for new ones to increase what I am doing and looking for better ways to do things.

It comes back to the saying, if you are not evolving you are dissolving, things never just stay the same.

So what about you? Are you constantly moving in an upward direction, or does it seem likes things are going downhill?

An easy way to start moving in the upward direction is to remember this. All you need to do is improve what you are doing by only 1% each day (You don’t have to totally change100% over night) just 1% each day and by the end of the year you have increased (improved) 365%! How awesome is that?

So what can you do today to improve just 1%? That will assist you in moving closer to your Goals?
